Round the World Trip/Honeymoon Part 2

On Sunday 10th July 2005, we set off on a long trip (1 year +). We planned to cover much of Central and South America in the first 6 months, followed by New Zealand, Australia and south-east Asia during the next 6 months.

We ended up spending 4 months in Central America (Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica), 3 months in South America (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, plus some of Argentina & Chile). We then crossed the Pacific, stopping off at Easter Island and Tahiti, spent almost 3 months in New Zealand and Australia and then 3 ½ months in South-east Asia (Thailand, northern Laos, Malaysia (including Borneo) and Singapore).
